Qualification

Minimum of 60% marks in M.Sc. in Zoology, Wildlife Science, Forestry, Life Science and other biological sciences with minimum 2 years of research experience in the field of molecular ecology/conservation genetics and publication in this field of research.

The Institute is actively engaged in research across the breadth of the country on biodiversity related issues.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of our independence and WII-NMCG team is celebrating the occasion by launching a Mobile Exhibition depicting the biodiversity and livelihood of the people living on the banks of river. This mobile exhibition will travel through the banks of River Ganga, Yamuna and Gomti throughout the Wildlife Week. The exhibition aims to create awareness amongst school children and the community about the importance of clean water, an environment free of pollution and the river biodiversity.
 
DAY 1 – BIJNOR, UTTAR PRADESHThe Mobile Exhibition got flagged off in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh on 1st October, 2021. The occasion was graced by DM Bijnor, DFO Muzaffarnagar, DFO Bijnor, Ganga Task Force, Eco Task Force and other Forest Officials apart from our own Wildlife Institute of India scientists Dr Bitapi Sinha, Dr S.A. Hussain and Dr Ruchi Badola and other project personnel.
