Qualification

1 Minimum Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V).
1. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
2. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
Or
3. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Or
4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). 

2 Minimum Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-II (for classes VI-VIII).
1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Or
2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Or
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
Or
4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

Rajaa has been elected thrice to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Mannargudi. He was appointed as the first secretary of DMK’s NRI Wing and then as the 2nd Secretary of the DMK’s IT Wing after its former secretary and Finance Minister of Tamilnadu PTR had resigned from the post due to governmental work load. After DMK came back to power in 2021, Rajaa was appointed as a member in the Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission and as the Chairman of the Legislative Committee on Estimates by the CM Thiru.
