Qualification

Project Associate-IIMaster`s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor`s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent with (a) National Eligibility TestsCSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. The candidate should have minimum two-years research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020). However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility. 
Field Assistant10+2/Intermediate in sciences with at least 1 year of experience in large animal handling or diploma in animal husbandry.

NIAB

NIAB is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and take up research in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s focus of research will be on Animal Genetics and Genomics, Transgenic Technology, Reproductive Biotechnology, Infectious Diseases, Bioinformatics and Nutrition Enrichment. The institute aims at translational research leading to the development of novel vaccines, diagnostics and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals. The Institute plans to promote bio entrepreneurship by providing support environment for commercial tenants involved in the development of farm animal based products.
